Proposal for ECA Project
1000 Bloom Chrysanthemum Plan

I propose that ECA establish the goal of producing a 1000 bloom chrysanthemum plant within 8 years.
Early tasks
	Establish task leader
	Plan exhibition of 1000 bloom plant
		Downtown Seattle
		Volunteer Park 
		Chrysanthemum Show
		Garden and Plant Show in Seattle
		Tacoma
		Portland
	Establish task timeline for project
	Write and get published, descriptive articles and disseminate information 
	Grow multi-bloom plants (20 blooms or so)
		Understand plant growth habit
		Refine specific cultural processes
			Stem rooting
			Fertilization 
			Watering
			Aeration of roots
			Lighting intensity needed to prevent premature flowering
			Disease prevention
	Arrange greenhouse for 1000 bloom plant
Design pot, aeration system, physical support system, lighting system, and bloom support system
Establish budget and funding for project

Middle tasks
	Assemble task groups
	Provide training for task groups
Design and start fabrication of pot, aeration system, support system, lighting system, and bloom support system.
Starting and tending 1000 bloom candidates
Ending tasks
	Tending 1000m bloom candidates
	Selecting 1000 bloom specimen
