So much for the old saying…. April Showers bring May flowers! At our house it’s been a very cold and rainy April. None the less there is always work to do in the green house. Since our last meeting our mums have been potted up from 4 inch to 6 inch pots, we’ve culled our varieties to our “keepers” and the hardening off process has been stalled a bit due to the in-climate and lower than normal temperatures.
Now the plant care really begins and as you will see by the included cultural notes we have a lot of information to cover.
There is some good fertilizer information at the end of the cultural notes. take a look!
April Public Plant Sale
Again thank you to all the ECA plant sale volunteers. Your help was greatly appreciated. Our annual plant sale is the only ECA fund raising activity that we do. I don’t yet have the Public plant sale final cash sale total, but but it appears that we are in the neighborhood of last years public plant sale total of $3500.
Lastly, We sold out of all of our available inventory A first for ECA that I am aware of!
