MEETING OF THE ECA – is scheduled for THURSDAY FEBRUARY 12, 2015 at
7:00 PM at the Seattle Police Athletic Association Office (SPAA) site at 11030 East Marginal Way South, Tukwila.

Dues: Please plan on paying your dues at the February meeting if you have not already done so.

Our Public Plant Sale will be held at Furney’s Nursery in Des Moines, WA on Saturday April 11th from 9 AM to 12 PM. Mums are $3.00 each.

Member plant sales will be held at our March and April Meetings – plants are $2.00 for members. Membership is $15 or $20.00 for a couple, payable to the treasurer.

MINUTES FROM JANUARY 2015 MEETING
Minutes ECA Meeting of Jan. 8, 2015
Meeting called to order by pres. John Harden at 7:12 pm. 16 members Present

Follow up on Ivor Mace Visit:
Stark revisited the Ivor Mace visit of Nov. 29; Thanked Bob Ewing for acquiring the Wesley Gardens hall for the occasion and also extended a special thanks to Chris Brookes for all the coordination and planning needed to bring Ivor here for a visit. After the social occasion Ivor gave a 2 hour discussion on his growing methods etc. The notes are in the Cultural category for February.

Business Meeting:
1. Election of new officers for 2015 were as follows
-President: John Harden
-Vice President: Richard Blaisdell
-Secretary: Don Stark
-Treasurer: Sydney Ogilvie
There was no election of trustees . It is presumed that will be taken up at the next meeting
2.John announced that Chris Brookes will not be able to continue as Cultural Chairman. While some discussion followed it was emphasized that this is an appointed position and the president will pursue this appointment.
3. There was discussion on getting the new members notified. The membership Chair will follow up for the Feb. Meeting and the hospitality chair will assure that we have the Novice handbooks available to hand out.
4.Treasurers Report: Balance as of 12/12/2014–Total $4,437.123.
