August 2016 Garden Tour

hi All

Our Garden Tour is Saturday, August 13th 2016. We will meet at Krispy Kreme Donuts in South Seattle @ 9:30 AM. Address is : 1900 1st Avenue S (SE corner of 1st Ave and Holgate)
Seattle, WA 98134. From there we will caravan to Rick Kyper’s garden & home on South Beacon Hill. We will depart Rick’s and head to the Seattle Chinese Garden and South Seattle College Arboretum as our final stop. There will be no formal picnic this year.

Our next regular meeting will be Thursday, September 8th at the Seattle Police Athletic Association.

Flowers for WinLuke museum – Rick Kuipers sent a letter to the museum explaining our organization and our willingness to provide Chrysanthemums this fall to commemorate the chinease year of the Chrysanthemum. Waiting for a response.

Picnic 8/13/16
Meet at Krispy Kreme on 1st Ave at 9:30 am
Caravan to Rick Kuipers house and then to the
Chinese garden and the arboretum at South Seattle community college
There was a discussion about catering the picnic meal
Decision was made that there would be no organized picnic this year
Those who would like to can go out to dinner afterwards
