HAPPY SPRING !

MEETING OF THE ECA – THURSDAY MAY 10th, 2018 at 7 PM at the Seattle Police Athletic Association Office (SPAA) site; 11030 East Marginal Way South, Tukwila. We meeting the small north class room.

Dues for 2018
“Last call – fair warning”. Please pay up, if this has not been done yet, or you cannot enter your blooms in our show in November.

PLANT CULTURE and SUPPLIES

Please contact Ron NOW for soilless and any other supply needs at the May meeting.

Please bring any left over plants to the May Meeting as some members may still want some cultivars.

April 12, 2018 ECA Meeting Minutes

Cultural presentation:
Member Plant Sale – ****2018 project mum is Connie Mayhew. Everyone is encouraged to grow at least 1 plant.

Business meeting:
February meeting minutes were approved by David Rynes and Rich Aldrich
Sydney Ogilvie gave trasurers report – $5948 total

2) Sydney to bring money box

6) No tax on plant sales

Plant sale beak down:

Additional plant sales and presentations:
1) Bob Ewing – East Hill Nursery asked about scheduling an April chrysanthemum presentation. Bob to ask about hosting a plant sale to coincide with the presentation.
2) Zenith Holland Nursery in Des Moines would also like a chrysanthemum presentation and plant sale.
3) Karen Hagethy – garden club also requested a spring Chrysanthemum presentation May 8th at 1:30 PM. Kris to see if we can change the date to better coincide with our plant sale. Ron to do the presentation
4) Portland Avenue Nursery in Tacoma has reached out to ECA – interested in hosting a plant sale, presentation, show at their facility – Kris to get more information
5) Jill Aldrich garden club also interested in getting some plants
